Day 01
Arrival at the International Airport of Managua. Meet & Greet follow by transfer to the hotel in Managua.
Overnight at Casa Real Hotel, Managua.

Day 2
Breakfast. Departure on a Regular Managua City Tour, Masaya Volcano National Park & Masaya Market. In Managua area there is a visit to the ruins of old downtown Managua destroyed by the 1972 earthquake as well as the new part of the city now called the future downtown of Managua, where most of the investments are being made. Continue the tour we will visit the Masaya Volcano National Park for a spectacular view of an active crater. Lunch included.
Overnight at Casa Real Hotel, Managua.

Day 3
Breakfast. Morning departure for the Scenic route to the ruins of Leon Viejo. Later visit Leon for a city tour. Admire the Cathedral, the largest one in Central America. It took more than 100 years to be built. Plus other colonial and classical architecture. A visit to Old León & San Jacinto volcanic pools are included. Lunch included in Leon.
Overnight at Los Balcones Hotel, León.

Day 4
Breakfast. Morning Guided transfer to Granada. Upon arrival, Granada City Tour, visiting the Cathedral, the oldest Convent in America, walk through the plaza, visit the Casa de Los Leones, view Lake of Nicaragua, and later enjoy a boat ride through some of the 364 small islands on the largest lake in Central America. Lunch included in Masaya.
Overnight at Colonial Hotel, Granada.

Day 5
Breakfast. Unescorted transfer to Peñas Blancas (border between Nicaragua and Costa Rica).

How to get to Nicaragua

You can find direct flights to Managua from the United States . Daily flights with Taca, Continental Airlines & American Airlines with a time flight of 2 hours and 15 minutes. You can also find flight arrangements to Managua and connections from Los Angeles , San Francisco , Dallas , Washington , New Orleans , New York , Mexico , Europe, Central America and South America .

The International Managua airport has is been recently remodeled to give visitors efficient service.

It is also possible to arrive to Managua by land departing from Honduras or Nicaragua

-Approximately 3:15 Hrs. from Honduras Border

-Approximately 2:00 Hrs. from Nicaragua Border

-& Approximately 3:00 Hrs. from Liberia City in Nicaragua .

Citizens of most countries do not need visa to enter Nicaragua only a valid passport and a tourist card which you can obtain at the immigration checking point at the airport in Managua and it cost only US$5.00.
