PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION
CUSTOMIZED GROUP SALES

Payment:

Hotel deposits are required upon request and a $400 deposit for the guide is required 90 days prior to arrival. 50% payment less deposits is required 60 days prior to the scheduled trip, with the balance due 30 days prior to the trip.

Cancellation Policy:

If cancellation is made 60 days or more prior to the scheduled trip, a full refund (less deposit guarantees at hotels, and guide deposit, less a U.S. $100.00 handling fee) is made. The entire 50% deposit is forfeited if cancellation is received in our offices 30 days prior to the trip. If cancellation is received 14 days or less prior to the trip, the full value is forfeited. We strongly recommend cancellation insurance.

 

CUSTOMIZED FIT SALES

Payment:

A deposit of 50% of the total trip cost is required to guarantee your reservation upon acceptance of proposal. The balance is due 30 days prior to departure.

Cancellation Policy:

A full refund, minus hotel deposits, will be made on cancellation 30 days or more prior to the scheduled trip. In case of cancellation received in or office from 20 to 15 days prior to the trip, a 50% refund, less hotel deposits, will be made. There will be no refund for cancellations made 14 or fewer days prior to the trip. This policy does not apply to hotels or tours in which Costa Rica Dive, Inc., acts only as an intermediary.

 

CHANGE FEE:

When changes are made at the last minute (after a trip has been confirmed and guaranteed) there is a change fee of $75.00. This fee is in addition to any cost or penalties imposed by the companies affected y the newly requested or cancelled services. It will help to cover our costs for the time invested in making these changes. Please be sure consider this policy before your clients' arrival in Costa Rica .

 

NOT INCLUDED IN TOUR PRICES:

Cost of obtaining passports, visas or tourist cards; excess baggage fees; personal expenses such as room services, beverages and laundry; gratuities to tour escort, guides or driver; personal communications charges; international airfare and airport departure taxes; excess mileage carried out at the request of the passenger; sightseeing or meals not specified in the itinerary; personal insurance coverage (strongly recommend).

About the guides
Panama Dive,INC is a full-service tour operator. We are not dive shop or a hotel farming out an occasional tour. This is our 23rd year scuba diving in Costa Rica and adventure land tour. We were licensed and insured. All our tour guides are English-speaking and many are graduate biologist, naturalist or ornithologists. Our tours are privately escorted in a private vehicle and go with a few as two persons.

Invariably, when we ask our clients what one thing stands out most about their vacation, the reply is “the guide”. Guides take the hassle out of travel.

They provide education, insight into the host culture, and in many cases a lifetime friendship. Over the years we have had thousands of clients visit Costa Rica and most of them have remained our friends and many of them have return several times. This is what makes this the most enjoyable business we could ever imagine.
